1. Welcome to Pram Barn!
We’re so glad you’re here. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Don’t worry—it’s all pretty straightforward, and we’re here to help if you have any questions!

2. Bookings & Payments

  • All bookings must be made in advance through our website or by getting in touch with us directly.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • A holding fee is required after booking: £280 for buggies and £100 for all other items. This is just a security deposit and will only be charged if there are major breakages, permanent stains, tears, or damage that makes the item unusable. General cleaning is not an issue—we know that life happens!
  • We do not conduct credit checks of any kind. We simply request the hire payment and a holding fee, which is sent separately after the booking has been made.
  • Payments are non-refundable unless covered by our cancellation policy.
  • Prices may change, but once you’ve booked, your price is locked in.
  • What is a Holding Fee? The holding fee is a deposit that ensures our hired goods are returned in good condition. You won’t be charged unless the item comes back with significant damage. Normal wear and tear is fine!

3. Hire Period & Returns

  • Your hire period starts the day you pick up your item or have it delivered by courier and ends on the day you selected on your booking form.
  • The last day of your booking is when you must return the item—not the day after! Late returns may incur extra charges.
  • If you need more time with your item, just let us know in advance. Extensions depend on availability and may have an additional fee.
  • Items should be returned in the same condition they were received, but we allow general wear and tear. A bit of dirt? No problem. A torn fabric seat? That’s different, and it might mean a repair fee.

4. Caring for Your Hired Items

  • You’re responsible for the item while it’s with you. That means keeping it safe and handling it with care.
  • If an item is lost, stolen, or seriously damaged beyond standard use, a repair or replacement fee will be charged.
  • We strongly recommend that you insure any hired goods while they’re in your possession. This helps protect you from unexpected costs.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If you cancel more than 48 hours before your hire period starts, we’ll issue a full refund.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours, unfortunately, we can’t offer a refund.
  • Returning an item early? That’s fine, but we can’t refund unused days.

6. Liability

  • Pram Barn is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages caused by the use of hired items.
  • Always use items correctly and follow manufacturer guidelines. Safety first!

7. Your Privacy Matters

  • Any personal information you provide will be kept safe and only used for bookings and customer service.
  • We won’t share your data with third parties without your consent.

8. Updates to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, and we’ll make sure to notify you of any significant changes.

9. Pickup and Drop-Off

Courier Service:
Our courier drop-off and pickup service runs Monday – Sunday, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM. If you need to return an item outside these hours, please plan accordingly when booking.

Self Pickup and Drop-Off:
Prefer to drop off or pick up yourself? No problem! You can do so at our sister brand, Pram Shed, 50 Corbridge Cres, London E2 9EZ between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

Add-Ons & Late Returns:

  • Need an add-on? Just email us! If available, we’ll arrange it and bill you separately. Make sure all add-ons are returned with your main item.
  • If an item is returned late and hasn’t been officially extended, we charge a daily rate + a half-day rolling charge.

Tracking & Lost Items

  • Many of our items have tracking devices to help us recover lost items. If an item goes missing, the full holding fee will be charged.
  • If we manage to recover the lost item, the holding fee will not be refunded, as the recovery process costs more than the business loss from a missing item.

Insurance & Responsibility

  • You are fully responsible for the items while they are with you.
  • We strongly advise you to insure any items you hire—this protects you in case of loss, theft, or major damage.
  • Any lost or damaged items will result in a penalty payment deducted from the holding fee.
